Facilities
The Island
The camping area has seen five patrol tents pitched in the past, however for comfort, the site is best suited to smaller groups camping with lightweight dome tents. The site has a flagpole should you wish to erect a flag during your stay. There is also a permanent brick barbecue.
The Boathouse
The boathouse contains all the buoyancy aids and paddles and access to the canoe compound. This wooden building can provide a dry shelter during a visit and can be locked while paddling away from the location.
The boathouse has around 12 plastic single-person kayaks, a couple of dinghies and an assortment of paddles and oars, spray decks, life jackets and buoyancy of different sizes.
